What does everyone use for a cleaning solution?

AlteredMind99 Jul 19, 2005 04:17 PM

Just curious what everyone uses...a bleach solution? Vinegar and water? or something name brand?

Please let me know what you use, the dilutions you use, and the "directions" (how long it needs to have surface contact, how long to air out before putting animals back in, etc)

TIA!

I use Nolvasan on a regular basis. I occasional use a stronger cleaner, once or twice a year. With Nolvasan I floow the instruction on the bottle. I let it dry completely before using it. For things like sand substrate I use the oven, 275 degrees for 3 hours.

I use chlorhexidine mixed 1:20 where animals are and cherry-256 for floors and cleaning cages when no animal is present.
