ball python shed?

snakeity Jul 19, 2005 05:15 PM

i have a ball python about 2 years old. one week or so ago he turned very dark and his eyes turned cloudy/blue. so it looked like he was going to shed. however in the past several days he has made no progress toward shed and is very active. he has also eaten. so i was wondering if this was something i should be concerned about or if it was normal. he has never looked like this before shed.

...$20 that he sheds within the next week. Don't worry about it. If he has already gone "blue" and back...he'll shed soon enough. Sometimes, for whatever reason, various phases of the shedding process take longer than usual.

...I'm almost willing to bet that you post within the next 36 hours stating that he shed out just fine...but my crystal ball has been acting up lately so I'm not going to make any predictions.
