Thermometers...

twilightfade212 Jul 19, 2005 09:40 PM

I have a little thermometer I got from PetCo for my snake's tank. I was thinking that this might not be accurate enough. What do y'all think? If not, do you think I should get a digital thermometer or a tempgun (tempgun.com)? Does anybody have any thing good or bad to say about the tempguns? Thanks a lot.

I have a couple of RadioShack precision indoor/outdoor digital thermometers. I've had these for about 7 or 8 years now. I replaced the one AAA battery last year for the 1st time. I'm not sure that they even still sell them but they are excellent. I think they cost something like 5 or 6 bucks each.

I used to have a tempgun but found that it was alot more trouble to pull it out open the box and shoot just for a temp, when it was much easier to just look at the digital thermometer. I sold it about three years ago.

IMHO go with the digitals.
