Ordinoides is the northwestern garter? I'm new to garters so I'm still trying to figure what's what.

Yep, ordinoides is the northwestern, the most common snake in my area. I would love to take a trip to california to photograph T.s. infernalis and T.s. tetrataenia, some of the worlds most beatiful snakes.
I just got an adult pair of infernalis from Casey Lazik. I think he may still have some 2 year old pairs left. After being in this hobby for many years even I can become somewhat jaded, but these guys are just spectacular! (not bad for my first pair of garters huh?)
I'm also getting an adult pair of Eastern Blacknecks from my buddy Anthony at Grade-A-Reptiles real soon (great guy). I'm also hoping I can make room for some killer oregon red spotteds while I'm at it.

WOW!!! That's the most vibrant infernalis, I'm assuming it was one of Casey Lazik's. I'm waiting a little bit before I start keeping garter snakes. I'm just trying to become as knowledgeable as I can before keeping them. Good luck with all your new snakes.
