I've got three crocs and I love them. They are quite incredible. What is the history of yours? Is it a wild caught juvi/adult? What's it's temperament. I raised mine from babies and they are awesome and very calm and deliberate in their movements. That said, they are very noise/disturbance sensitive. If I bang on the cage they panic and jolt. They are non-aggressive feeders and always out in the open. However as you know they have big teeth, so I don't really handle them. I can. And they are quite easily handled. But it makes me a bit nervous so I don't unless I have to. I wear really thick welders gloves with studs on them. Except when they were babies and I was harassing them they've never attempted to bite. As for cage, go as big as you can. A four foot croc is not big, mostly tail. But they grow fast. They are my favorite monitors. In a class of their own.
