When are we going back to the sandhills? I can't wait to get down there, find a bunch of snakes, and hear that famous line..."Everybody's homeless tonight!"

Mike,

I am planning next year's trip for April 9 - 15, 2006.

I invited Keith Hillson - let's see if he has what it takes to get away from his wife for 7 days Hopefully I can get Brad Bauserman to come also. And, of course, Kevin is in.

Should be good times again...

EVERYBODY's HOME-LESS To-NITE!!!! EVERYBODY's HOME-LESS To-NITE!!!

Mike, Zee - let's keep that line as our little inside joke.

How about this one, "Pete, the only reason you treat me like this is because you are bigger than me!"

Or how about this one, "I wanna see all a yall's damn licenses!"

Is that ok with you "Skink_Stomper_1229"?

Or, my favorite:

"If a guy like that stops and asks us what we are doing... let me do the talking."

hehe heh heh - man that was a fun trip.

Another good one was "They all up in there!"

Definitely one hell of a trip! I look forward to meeting Keith and Brad next year. You will have to tell them to let me do all the talking when the locals ask us what we're doing...I will be the official ECC Public Relations person for the Southeast.

I can't wait to go back. I'm going to hit it this fall...it's only a 3 hour drive for me. Thinking about taking a few days off in mid-September.

How many times did he just totally VANISH????????

The best was when he had the keys to my 4runner and it was freaking hot as HELL and we had nothing to drink!!!

Yeah Im gonna try and make it. I even have a southern accent at my disposal in case of a pinch. I used to live in Alabama for 3 months a year until I was 13 so its pretty solid lol.

Hey Guys,
I definitely want to go to the Sandhills next year. Sorry I couldn't make it this year. My new daughter took precedence over the trip. Definitely looking forward to meeting all you king fanatics.
Peter: I DO NOT SCREEN MY CALLS!! I've been at Kim's all week. Call me on my cell if you want to chat.
Michael: Didn't forget about the pine photos. I should be able to load some on our new lap top. Will see what I can do.

That was another good one - I sensed a lot of resentment, frustration, anger, sore fingers, too many skinks - and not enough snakes!
LMAO!

Last year really was a great trip. 40 snakes, hundreds of lizards, and even more laughs in just three days! We will even do better this year because we will kind of know what we're doing. Last year was a lot of trail and error.

Can't wait for stuff to start moving again down here. It is even too hot to find snakes AT NIGHT right now...well, maybe not that hot, but there is really nothing turning up these days. Just an eastern garter and a racer in the past month. The Eastern Kings are way underground somewhere I guess...

Another month until the babies start hatching. Things will pick up then...

Peter, those Pinellas are simply awesome snakes!!! The female took a fuzzy rat AND an adult mouse the other night! Pretty hardy for an '04...
