I guess Ghosts really do come out at night...

wetceal Jul 20, 2005 09:19 AM

Here are a few pictures of a couple of our holdback Ghost Boas. I've always liked Ghost Boas but I never truly appreciated how cool they are till now! These guys change so much from night to day it's amazing. They seem to be at their lightest coloration and cleanest patterns later in the evening at around 9 to 10pm. If you peek in on them during they day, they are usually fairly dark and somewhat speckled, especially the male but in the evening - whew!

Anyways, just wanted to share some photos...

Thanks for looking,
Celia

Of course I am biased but I think the ghosts are underrated. There are some really light, clean ghosts being produced like these. I am looking forward to seeing ghostsin combination with other morphs like Arabesques and Motleys. Good luck with these they should make outstanding adults.

Beautiful pics (but, of course) I have found the same thing to be true about them looking their best later at night. Even the prettiest, cleanest ones look better at night. I always point-n-clicked mine on my nights off work when I could stay up late

Congrats on the litter. I would be keeping them all.

The Hypos from that litter were amazing. I should have, but didn't, keep any of the females for myself. There were two males and two females. A couple of good friends of ours really wanted the females so I sold them each one. I didn't really need any of the males so I sold them too. Should have kept one of the girls though! Here's a picture of one of the males...

Thanks,
Celia
