Is it missing a front or rear limb? I don't know why it wouldn't live unless there are other less-obvious (ie. internal) deficiencies; 3 good limbs may serve it adequately. I once had one die in the shell which turned out to be digit-less; not a single finger or toe, just 4 legs ending as stumps. It was well it did not hatch.

I rescued a 6 day old hatchling chuckwalla that had been deformed from the incubator being turned off accidently by my friends daughter. All the eggs perished but one.
She hatched with stubs in the front and back legs twisted up kinda too (short) but she scaddles all over the place and has a better appetite than my adult males.
She is now going on 3 years old ,
She looks different of course but seems happy and content. Ya just have to make things a bit more convenient for them as far as their set up goes.
I hope your baby does well ! Keep us updated !

i recently had the same exact thing happen. a crested of mine hatched out the night i was going to move, came out with only 3 limbs, missing one of the front limbs. to make matters even worse, the only front limb it had was deformed, only 2 toes and the leg doesnt really function properly. it's a week old now, and im debating on what i should do with it. believe it or not, i have actually found it climbing around recently too. but if you're up for a challenge, i would say go ahead and see if you can raise it like any other crested.
