Nice specimen. Around where were you herping when you found it? I'm in Arkansas and have personally never found any live ones in the field - though I have found one rather large DOR before. The populations of streckeri seem to be scattered at best, with large numbers in small pockets, and almost none in between. There's one particular area slightly northeast of me, near a tiny town called Hector, where the locals tend to run across a relatively large number of them. I keep meaning to get up there and do some herping and cruising, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Anyway, thanks for sharing your pictures!

Hi Chance,

I live in Southern Missouri not far from Arkansas. I found it on what is called a Glade in this part of the world.
