Well, its no pastel clown (congrats BHB and Snakekeeper for producing those awesome animals!), but I thought I'd share a pic of one of our clowns that hatched last month. We bred our reduced pattern male to a gigantic 5 foot 100% het female. We hatched 3.1 clowns and 1.2 hets that all hatched at over 90 grams! Talk about good genetics! We produced 1 reduced pattern clown and 3 more typical clowns. This is such a hot morph. Now, I just have to work on producing pastel clowns, hypo clowns, etc., etc., etc. You really have to have patience in this business!

Awesome Clown..nice, clean sides...Clowns are WAY too under rated. Do you have any pics of the rest of the clutch? (Sorry, to be a begger...but Clowns are definitely on my top 5 favorite morphs list and I'm a sucker for a good photo.)

Let me get this straight. You bred a 'normal' reduced pattern male to a het for clown female and got clowns?

It also seems swreptile did the same with his bozo and now circus clown?

I thought clowns were recessive?

Did you two guys get lucky by have "normals" accidentally prove out as hets?

What the heck is going on?

I think he means his reduced pattern CLOWN male. Clowns are quite variable with the amount of pattern they have.

That is one nice clown. I love the head!
Congrats.
