1/Where can I get a good Male malayan(preferred) boxie, or a male of any type?
2/How do you sex turtles?
And what can I do to help my turtles shell back to its full glory, as of right now it is flaky and pale tan, after I oil it it turns to a very dark brown. But the oil doesn't seem to help for longer than a few days/weeks.

what kind of oil are you using ?
if its veggie oil or vasalene(sp) its not real good for a turltes shell .. and might be causing the turtles shell to flake ..
what is the turtle eating right now?
