First Clutch ever after keeping her for 9 years!

Slizarus Jul 21, 2005 03:12 AM

Yup yup!
For the first time ever since my mother got Baby a 3 1/2 year old female we've always wanted her babies, and now after about 8 1/2-9 years we have 24 young babies with about 6 slugs, all except one healthy and fat, the one sort of has a odd crust and is rather thin, I'll be watching over him.
We believe baby is a Hybrid between localities, though she resembles most strongly a common she has hints of a mash of things, most strongly peruvian, Her Father was a loan from a friend, I'll get his info later, but this was a total suprise, we didn't even know she was pregnant!

We're happy to have them and we plan to care for them for a few weeks till we find appropiate homes for them (In the local Herp Society, as well as a worker at a reptile store)

They're not rare, they're not albinos nor Sunbursts or Salmons, but they're a miracle in their own right, hope they grow big and strong

Yay!

The Father was one of a pair that was bought in a IRBA Expo last year, the female died and so the owners gave him to breed to ours, I checked everyone out while I counted, 3 aberrants, one of them brightly red, hopefully it's genetic.

Congratulations on the new babies! Be sure to post some post-shed photos so we can see!
