heh-
i guess i gave the wrong impression. i've had snows for three years.
i got my first one from albey as well, her name is myrtle (and she was bred for the first time this year. her baby, just one so far, is just adorable). this new guy is just going to be my 'extreme stud.' previously, i've just been building up my females (with the anticipation of some turning out to be males, which some did). i have definitely never paid so much for a gecko before, but i knew the time was right. next year, some of my newest (and most fabulous) girls will be all set to go. i'm considering breeding this new fellow to one female only (and only since he's so extremely large) soon, just to get his waterworks set to go for next year, and as a sort of test of temperment. if he does breed this year, it will be to a nice striped pastel i have named lucretia (who has not been bred before either). this whole season has been the 'testing' season, and it's gone pretty well (some females shooting some blanks and singles, and me making a few mistakes), quite a few more eggs in the cooker. ultimately, i'm aiming for a fully striped snow, and a speckled snow. my speckled project, though, is totally in its infancy. though i adore any snows! the picture you have of your snow is awesome!
isn't it weird how the mack super has everyone going ga-ga over the old fashioned snows, and how people keep mixing them up?
