Venezuela boa babies are variable and....

RioBravoReptiles Jul 21, 2005 09:53 AM

... pretty!

I have a few boas of western Venezuela, imports from a couple of years back. They are good captives (friends, they started out VERY ROUGH) and not big.. Mom is almost four feet long and dad is about 38", with the diameter of a grey ratsnake.. he's very anery-looking (type 3? LOL) and she is very dark brown and black.. They gave a nice litter a couple of weeks ago and all the babies are feeding and doing great.

Anyway.. I am surprised by how pretty some of them are!.. pale and pink-ish. Here's an example.
.

.
This one is more silery and looks a lot more anerythristic..
.
.
.
Who knows what they will look like as adults?

Be safe.

Gus, I know how much you dislike morphs AND inbreeding. However, I really think you should work with him more to discover if he is Anerythristic.
