Gee,
I've been sorta quiet lately...guess I really want to keep all these gems for myself! Anyhow, here is a pic of one, and I'll share a couple others. I only used my young male to breed this year and it's showing! He's a bright white background with black blotches. So his babies are really showing that same tendency. Yet some of Big Girl's babies show her red wash on the sides, though in the pictures it doesn't show up at all. I thought that odd since I wasn't using flash. But from what I've read and talking to other people, many baby pines start out with that red wash, and usually lose it. John Meltzer had bought a female from me who had the classic black and white pattern going on, but had a nice intense red wash on her sides, which is what he wanted, but she lost that red wash when she grew up. Yet I've also heard of babies starting out pretty nice black and white, showing no red wash, gaining red as they got older. But anyhow, I guess you want to see some pics huh? LOL!
