How much to feed?

melon88 Jul 21, 2005 10:32 AM

Our beardie has been growing and healthy for several months now. During this time he continues to increase his intake of crickets. We have been feeding twice a day and supplementing with veggies every other day. He is up to 50 at each feeding and still looks for more. I was wondering if it was possible to overfeed. If he is looking for more should we give it to him? Thanks for the help.

While they are young and growing keep on feeding them what they will eat! They are going to need it.

As they get older you can decrease the feedings to once a day and slowly decrease the frequency of supplements, while at the same time increasing the amount of veggie intake
