Shedding & eating

I think my ball will be going to start shedding soon. He turned dull over the weekend and his eyes were grey. He still has not actually shed, and today is his feeding day. Should I wait till after he sheds? BTW, I upped the humidity to about 80% and I have not been handling him so he won't have any stress. Also, I have had him since the end of April and he hasn't shed for me yet - is that normal (he was about a month old when I got him)?

if it's a scheduled feeding day go ahead and try, it won't hurt. He'll either take it or he won't, no harm done. As far as shedding is concerned, the more often he eats the faster he'll grow, so the more often he'll shed.
