Question about my burm, I've had my burm for about 5 years, I'ts only 9ft 6in, is that adequate for the age of the snake. It's a male burm also.

I'd say that it's a little small, but could be the genetics. Right now my female is 6' and maybe 1 year old /- a couple months.

I have a male albino that reached 10ft in 2 years.
Feeding well, but conservatively...every two weeks, one heavy meal. Rather than feeding every week.I do this not only with my burms, but all my snakes.
My females grow even faster, as do all my friend's burms.
So I'd say from experience, that 9'6 for a five year old is on the small side.

My burm, a male labyrinth, is about 4.5yrs old. Right now he's up to about 12 feet, and that's on a relatively conservative feeding history.

As is the norm, when I first got him he grew very fast:

But over the past year or so his growth has really slowed down:

P.S.
The guitar pic in the second picture is actually the very same pic from the first picture (from 4.5 years ago)! (I don't like that one, so I never use it - that's why it's still around...).

From what I've heard it's smaller than most but is it healthy? Some people will feed their snakes to much to get them to grow to fast and they wind up with a fat or unhealthy animal. If your's is healthy and active then you're right on track. 9' is not exactly a small snake and when they get bigger, they can be a pain to handle.
