I am new to Boas and would like an honest critique of this pair since I do not know what traits to look for or what is good/undesirable in Boas:
'05 Female, she has ALOT of pink on her sides:
I hear terms (saddles, ladders, etc.) and have no idea what I'm looking at or for. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

With boas being so uniquely individual, every family line is indeed different in so many ways. With my first litter I couldn't get over how completely different each baby was. If I had room to keep them all, I would, and still have 10 yearlings. I think that you decide what is desireable and go from there. Boa's are popular enough where you will have dozens of people who share the same opinion. My boas have lots of pink in them too 
what matters the most is that you find the traits you like not what joe blow likes. The female has nice circle back pattern whitch you ight like but i won't. The true opinion is yours after all its your snake and you have to take care of it not me or anyone else. I never buy a reptile cause everyone else likes it and its the new craze. Theres honesty and truth. Now for what people want to here lol. Perfect circleback huge monster ladder tail and het for everything under the sun. Ohh what the hell lets make it hypo with jungle ( oops shouldn't have said that lol here comes the threads now lol) albino , aberisque (sp i know) pie balled ( yea right lol)and anything else you can think of. The last part of this was for a laugh by the way. Just remeber its your snake in your care and let it be what you want. Paul
Ahhh... Pieds!!! Now we're talkin' my language!!! Personally, I like my Ball Pythons... Even with the BPs, I needed to learn what I was looking at. Loving the bright colors was the "instinct", learning that the look I like is called "Pastel" was the learning curve. Thats what I am attempting with this post. I know I like the pink, and now I'm trying to "see" the differt trends in patterns. Circle Back - having you point out that the female has it, helps me learn the Boa terminology.
