I have a small baby i got at the beggining of the year and he is like that to. We named him Diablo just because he is mean as hell, but luckily he started to eat. The other one i have that is the same age has not eaten since i have owned him and thats about 6 months.

Usually Surinames or Peruvians but they all tamed down to some degree with time. Boas that you get as babies seem to settle down with regular appearences and handling by their owners. Boas that I've received as sub-adults always make me leary so I can see your delema. I really don't mind it much... if they don't want me to hold them, fine by me. I'm just as happy to observe.
Good luck-
