Check Out The Heads On These Pastels!

Lizards of Oz Jul 21, 2005 09:47 PM

I just wanted to share some pics of some incredible pastel I recently hatched out. I've been breeding geckos for years, but this was my first clutch of Ball Pythons ever. I bred my extremely reduced pattern female (which I was hoping was a woma ball) to my male Graziani pastel. I ended up with two pastels and five normals. The normals do have some degree of reduced pattern to them, but not to the extreme that the mother does. The really impressive part was the pastels. I've seen lots of pastels, but I can't remember seeing to many with heads this exceptionally faded. The patterns were somewhat reduced as well, but again not to the extent of mom. Let me know what you think of them.

Thanks. The first one looks like a male and the second a female. I will check again once they have shed and eaten to be sure.
