Just an observation with the new rats

phiber_optikx Jul 21, 2005 10:36 PM

I just wanted to post and say that they are doing fine! But my observation is this, just started handling them Wednesday. The male was a complete Spaz! Thrashing about everywhere and would NOT settle down for like 2 minutes. Well, the second time I handled him him was VERY well behaved... still a little jumpy (as to be expected) but 100X better than before. Is it usuall for them to begin adjusting this quickly? Because the second day I handled him he was close to an angel even though none will ever be quite as good as hope! first is always the favorite!

Give them a couple weeks to settle in.Then you can judge your new snakes behavior.Ive had snakes come in dogtame then became mamba wannabees, and vice versa...Paul
