Another attempt at a frog portrait

bradtort Jul 22, 2005 08:36 AM

Nikon D70 with Sigma 105 macro lens. F16-F22 @ 125th. ISO 200. Manual flash to the left, reflector to the right.

Shot in RAW (NEF) and converted to JPEG.

Lots of work in Photoshop LE to clone out bits of gunk and glare. Some adjust of levels, slight tweaking of hue and saturation.

Uncropped.

It looks very different between my home and work monitors.

Next attempt (I shot 44 images this time) I need to smooth out the shadows and create less glare.

Does anyone else here think that these scrolling signature lines are stupid?

A slight variation on the first post

Details the same except I shot this one in JPG - I forgot to change the setting when I started!
