I have heard people say that they can see which babies are albino when they candle, I was just wondering if you can do the same with pieds?
Thanks

Grant it - I haven't candled pieds or albinos - but last week when I candled my eggs I could clearly see mattern on the snakes that I saw. I would think if you had a white snake or partially white snake it would be pretty easy to tell - unless it was a low white pied or you could only see the patterned part of the pied then it might be a bit trickier.
I know doesn't quite answer your question - but I try! LOL

Misty Sprouse Ball Pythons
When they hatch. Even if there is a morph in the egg, it isn't any good untill it hatches out healthy.

Nice people suck!!!!!!!
About 5-6 weeks into incubation...you can see pattern....I've seen and identified pins, spiders, albinos, etc. by candling to see pattern/color.

Not knowing what is going to hatch is more than half the fun.

But I am no good at that. I am very hands on with eggs, and so far it has paid off for me. I really am just so impatient, so I am sure I will be doing some candling there close to the end to see what I can see. I am excited!!! But, I guess once you are getting lots of clutches each year, maybe it becomes easier to be patient. Hopefully someday I will find out!
