over the past 2 weeks i have began to experience something very strange with my adult male veiled.when i would be near his cage or feeding him,i could hear his voice in my head,directing me to do things.at first i was able to ignore it or block it out of my head but recently i have been finding it harder and harded to refuse.the past 4 days i have spent entire days searching through feilds looking for insects that he wants me to find.not just certain species but insects with certain traits.like a one legged grasshopper,ladybug with only 4 spots,ect.when i try and cheat by ripping off a grasshoppers leg off,he immedietly could tell that it was not found that way and refuses to eat.i recently stopped taking my medication and i started to think that this may have been partly caused by that but i now know that it has nothing to do with my medication.now what worries me is that i can now hear him when i am as far as 10 miles from home.i can hear his voice as clear as if i was right there.basically i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this with their veiled chameleon.he is now beginning to request things that are bad.

have you considered taking your chameleon with you to see a psychologist or psychotherapist??? Some shared sessions may be of help...
