there have been a lot of questions about average sizes lately

benedita Jul 22, 2005 07:03 PM

I have been keeping a log with weekly weight and a semi-monthly length measurements on my two ornate yearlings.
Has anyone else been doing this?
If we can get enough samples of various species, perhaps we can compile the data and put together some growth charts?

I only have sporadic data - whenever I think about it or whenever I can get a hand on the shy ones. If you would like the info, I can send it to you. It spans back to when I got my first Saharan a couple of years ago.

Sure if you can send me your data, that would be great.
I have less than a year's data on my ornates, but if everyone who has data can send it to me, I will put put it together, and hopefully together it will comprise a large enough sampling.
Send your info to benedita@mindspring.com with "uromastyx" in the subject line, as i will have to fish for the emails in my bounce box. Be sure to include the species you are providing data for.
thanks.

Benedita-

I just sent you an email. File was created in Open Office, but I saved it as Excel. Hope that works for you!

As I said in the email, maybe my info isn't as useful as it could be - most of my uros are adults and I haven't had the little ones very long. But maybe it's useful for something!
