If anyone has some expertise in the health and maintenance of ball pythons, I really could use some ideas about what the problem is... remember my snake has a "chopped up" belly which has failed to respond to two rounds of IV antibiotics. I have changes the bedding to fine sand - waiting to see if there is any change or improvement.

i don't know quite what you mean by a "chopped up" belly, but get it off the sand...
Not sure what you mean by "chopped up belly" but definitely get it off the sand.. if it has any open wounds the sand is only going to make the situation worse.. go with paper towels.. is the snake still eating?.. you need to give better detail on the situation.. and try posting in a python forum
