Notice how it has to get those rear fangs into its prey.

real cool, like always. what would that species do if it were to bite you? I am not too keen on alot of rearfanged exotics.

Well I have been barely nipped a couple of times by the front teeth and it left puncture marks from the front teeth, however I never permitted it or would permit the snake to get a good grip and use its rear fangs and venom like it does when it eats prey. However the case, I believe that swelling, tingling, and itchiness to the area would occur.

Very pretty little snake! If I were to make it down to south Texas, these guys would be at the top of my list.

....Coniophanes looks like it needs to move west...get some ntrl food
Note the opisthoglyphs are really more accurately.... mid fanged...they sink those quite easily & dont really need the deep mouth bite.....

Send him west & tohell w/ the lady in the looking glass....

Helmz...youre in the back of the bus [cargo] on this one~!

Besides....it looks like mr roadguarder has nothing on a nitesnake....eh.....
