Opinions pretty please???

chameleon2005 Jul 23, 2005 09:33 AM

I purchased this male ball python from my local pet store. He is a really good size and is feeding well.

The thing is, i have never seen belly markings like these before, I know we all hope that we have a new morph on our hands

He is quite dark in color and all his belly scales have a black outline as you can see in the picture

Any opinions?, it is just a weird normal?

I have a female with the same belly marks. At first I thought it was scale rot but I've had her for about 3 years and it's the same now as it was then. The scales are perfect and each scale gets more black pigment from about the 1/3 mark down. Very interesting. My female bred my lesser male but didn't produce.

Corey
