Has anyone else seen their Uromastyx do that cool warning dance? My girlfriend accidentally dropped something into my Uro's cage and it startled him, so he hissed and began swirving from side to side in an S motion. It was unfortunate that he was that scared, but the dance was really interesting.

My uro does the S motion ALL the time, but never because he feels threatened. He does it most of the time when he lays out flat on the sand; it's almost like he's getting comfortable. He just does one little wiggle and seems relaxed. I've also seen him do it when i squint to see his body in his cave; i know he can not see me. Lindsey said its probably just his own corky little thing.

Archie used to do the "S motion" to get comfy too. It is a really cool thing to see!

Perth does the same wiggle when she settles in under her basking rock. Yet when she is in a mood because she didn't want to be held or I wash the poo off of her. She will walk under her rock and then swish her feet as if to have the last word. Normally she won't do it but, if she's perturbed then she'll do it. She's very moody.

My guy did the S dance thing as a warning once. It was pretty cool.
