What kind should i get?

I'm looking for something thats cheap and will not require a very big enclosure i was thinking of either a blue tounge skink or bearded dragon.This will be my first lizard My only other experince is my ball python.Any other suggestions would be apreciated.

I have two Bearded Dragons right now and they are growing quickly. Depending on what species you get, be prepared to have them get to 2 feet and some species are even larger. Bearded Dragons are also a very solid bodied herp.

If you can be prepared for that, I would say go for it. Im loving mine, but at 9 weeks I am already looking towards finding a larger cag for the future. Very adaptable animals.

blue tongues are going to require bigger enclosures.here are a few andimals that wont need that big of an inclosure.
collared lizard
curly tailed lizard
fire skink
armadillo lizard
leopard gecko
crested gecko
pictus gecko
