Firs off, I have a beautiful cbb Henk. I am almost positive it's a female, as it was hatched out in Sept/October '04, and I have yet to see any bulges. She is very pretty esp at night. Has anyone noticed if you take a plainish looking leaftail, and mate it with a wild looking patterned/colored leaf if the hatchlings resemble the parents at all? Or is it pretty much potluck w/what hatches out.
Second, w/that latest enclosure that was just released here, and people seem to like out, can't remember the name. When I move I am going to get one, and make a planted vivarium. I would like to know what people use for layers starting from the bottom of the tank to the surface. Specifically, how thick each layer should be as well. And if you like a specific brand from a company, that would be helpful as well. The setup would be for henks and mossy's. Not together obviously.
I probably will leave the plants themselves potted however..
Thanks
