Are the temps in my warm spots of my tanks at a good level?

fragilesoul Jul 24, 2005 08:48 PM

One of my tanks ranges from 85 to 95 degrees on the warm side, and the other large tank ranges from 90 to 105 degrees.

Should i add more layers of paper towel or is this heat level ok? Currently no gecko is housed in the small tank and a 10 month female is in the large.

Both are too hot. The hot side should be around 88. I'd say add a little more paper towel to both.

I think 85-95 is just fine on the warm side...as long as that's the temp around the substrate level.
