went herpin today, didnt find any chucks tho...

i wasnt quite in the Chuckwalla range, heh. I did, however, find 3 western aquatic garter snakes, a GORGEOUS Red Diamond back rattler, forgot the camera and words wouldnt do this fello justice, it was the most awsomest red with orange diamonds ever, so clean lookin. we also found lots of pacific tree frogs, tadpoles, and we found a horned toad, baby, not sure on exact subspecies tho. thats it! nick.

Hey Nick,

sounds like you had a fairly productive trip, where did you go?
I'm guessing somewhere in riverside county for the ruber...yes? Saw a Sidewinder the other night north of Barstow...small little one. It was neat. Talk to you soon.
