Questions on Helix addons

Helix Photo-Electric Module for DBS1000 Thermostat
or
The Helix Night-Drop Adapter cord

I haven't found enough info about either to know which I want. I want the Helix Thermo to control 2-3 cages and let the temps drop a little for night. Wouldn't an Appliance timer just shut it all off? I think I want the mod but before I order I want to be sure.

Also if anyone has a super great place to order these from for someone who lives in PA please email me through here.

Thanks a Heap!

The Helix is a decent unit and I have them but in my opinion I still like the Herp Power Digital Proportional thermostat better. I have quite a few of them and have never had any problems with them.

I have come across a few posts that say they have had problems but when you start looking at the source of the post you realize it is competitors of Big Apple trying to sell you less sophisticated thermostats at a higher price. For $110 including a night drop I think it is a tremendous value.

All of my units have held within a 1/3 of 1 degree. I will continue to use this brand on all my high end reptiles as I have not found anything more trustworthy at any price.

Not only that but I always get my orders the next day from Big Apple so I love ordering from them.
