What a Change in Feeding Response!

MegF Jul 24, 2005 10:40 PM

I can't believe what a change that a shed makes in feeding response. I've fed my new girl twice since I got her and evidently it was before shed as she basically just took the mouse from the tongs and ate it. Not much of a strike and almost no constriction to speak of. This third feeding is the first one after she shed, and Wow! What a difference. She not only struck hard enough to pull it out of the tongs without my having to release, she wrapped that baby up in her coils like it was going to leave town without her. This is more like the response I read about in the books! Very awesome!
