Problem Feeders... Part 5... An Ending

HerperHelmz Jul 24, 2005 11:17 PM

I posted various messages about my problem feeder cali king babies. 1 of the babies started eating voraciously soon after part 1 of this "series". So then I was still stuck with a normal striped cali king that would rarely eat.

I had no access to live pinkies, which she probably would've taken. But I gave her a 11" night snake just to get some food into her. She ate it. Like a week later, I offered her a 6" rough earth snake, which she attacked, I took it away from her though. And instead offered her a large pinky that a rough earth snake crapped on, YUM lol... She took it. She took about 3 or 4 more over the next few weeks. Then I traded away the earth snakes, so there goes my scent.

Well, after offering her all of the scented pinkies, I hoped she would look at pinkies like they were food, even without the earth snake. I saw her cruising the enclosure as I fed some of the other snakes, so I left a peach fuzzy where she was seen last as she ducked under the newspaper. She took it.

The End.
