few questions

210spurs Jul 25, 2005 04:53 AM

well im contemplating on getting a leo gecko, they look awesome and seem to make a good pet. i have a couple of questions, my first is, would one leo be alright in a 10 gallon tank, also could you house it with an emperor scorpion or will it try and eat it. and if anyone has an emp how would it compare to taking care of a leo. oh yea and my last question is can they eat fruits like grapes and stuff. any feedback would be appreciated.

Not to sound snotty but I dont think you've done research but I'll answer your questions. Yes one leo will be fine in a 10 gallon. No for the scorpion thing seeing as one is bound to get killed most likely the gecko. If you want a gecko its not that much money for the caging really a 10 gallon is like 20 bucks you can use paper towels and youse throw away tuberware for the two hides(one which has to be humid)Why dont you try doing a little research before you buy please. Leos are a long term commitment they live 10 - 20 years if properly taken care of.

Leos are insectivores. They don't like fruit or veggies...

And in the wild, leopard geckos eat scorpions.
