I have been trying to figure out ways to get really good accurate photos of my hatchlings... I shoot with a Nikon D70 and just recently bought a SB600 speedflash. I have taken some decent photos before, but could not reproduce the correct lighting when I needed it. This has solved my lighting problem completely and until I can afford a few more speedflashes, for the perfect photos, I think this will do very well. This is the Pastel Mojave that did not get posted the other day, and for some reason, I keep going back to my comp to stare at this photo....

You like your Digi? Im "graduating" from the "standard" digi camaera in the near future & im going back to my old ways with the SLR. Im torn between which to get though......I like the Nikon D70 but i am also quite fond of the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II....its a little bit more expensive than the Nikon......but its a performance beast! And with 16 megapixels........large images will look lifelike.......good for displays and such........

is this a mojave born from mojave x pastel or are you refering to this snake as a pastave?

A Pastel Mojave and a Pastave are the same thing. even though I helped name the Pastave, from all the negative comments I have received on that name, I have chosen to go with Pastel Mojave.
