what I did to get it (and it worked even when I thought it
didn't , I didn't need to put it on my server), I clicked on
the broken X image and hit the right mouse button and clicked
on copy image location. Then I put that at the top of my
computer, hit return and voila, saw the picture.
Most people that make mistakes with pics. are not putting the
actual address of the Picture itself in the Image URL, they're putting
the server site that they use. They can see the image because it's
on their harddrive but nobody else can unless they do the above
steps.
Tobey the sulcata's picture has an address of
http://cageocities.com/zhiv9/Sulcata-Jan-13-2003-63gra.jpg
Pictures must have a jpg ending. The above address has to
be in the Kingsnakes Image URL for others to see it.
I don't know what address you used that just gave the
broken picture symbol, but it wasn't that one.
Make sure pics. have a jpg ending. Remember it's got to
be the address of the actual image itself.
