.... Ok, just breathing is fine!
These are Isla de Maize (AKA Corn Island) boas.. just born in this photo. I watched her make that nest for about two hours. Then she got positioned. While I had the camera ready she started a contraction.. nothing.. wait for a while, is that a little lift of the tail? .. still nothing. Go to catch the mailman with a letter that had to go out and come back.. ALL DONE!
Anyhow I'm grateful it worked out.. they look great and a couple already have that hint of green that I love in these boas.
