temperature?

im currently trying to heat an 18inch L x 12inch W x 15inch H tank for a young ball python,and want to know for sure the right temperatures(all caresheets vary and aren't very descriptive) so,right now i've just got a heat mat,what temperature do i need at the hot end(and basking spot) and cooler end?in a tank that size,thanks
