Question about feeding

evinrudesmom Jul 25, 2005 07:47 PM

Hey I have another question. I was wondering how many crickets are good to feed per feeding. I feed him crickets but don't know how many is enough. He is about 4 months old. He gets greens too. What are some other vegetables that are good for them to eat. Right now he gets arugala, collards and dandelion greens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My dragons love squashes, yellow, zuchinni, etc. Spaghetti squash is a good one too. Also carrots and peas....give them a variety...

You can feed him as much insects as he can eat in a 5-10 min period, twice a day, with mixed greens offered all day long. For a great list on good greens to give and how often, check out the site below, under the nutition heading.

Feed him crickets twice a day for another couple of months, till he is about 6months old, then just feed insects once a day, again with greens available all the time. Once he is over a year, insects 2-3 times a week is good, with greens offered all other times.
