I use aspen shavings and I was just wondering if its cheaper online from a certain site or do you guys just buy it from your local pet store? Oh yeah im new and i've been wondering what all this 1.1 Snow or 0.1 mean?? what does it mean?????

i dont know about the aspen but the numbers are for gender
1.0 is one male
0.1 is one female
0.0.1 is one unsexed
0.0.6 is six unsexed
8.1.2 is eight males, one female, and 2 unsexed or unknowns
and so on

it means male/female/unknown as in 1.0=male 0.1=Female 0.0.1=unknown But the #1 is not important say you had 2 males.. then it would be 2.0 or 3 males 2 females and 5 unknown sexes... 3.2.5 got it?

as far as price goes for aspen, there isn't really much difference. I would just buy one huge bag from your local shop and that should last you for a few months.
