Do any of your retics...

wangtastic Jul 26, 2005 01:55 AM

Do any of your retics like to climb? I just built a new enclosure for my tiger retic and I included a shelf. Now I know it'd be hard for ppl with big retics to be able to do this but...any of you guys with smallish retics noticed if they like to purch or just...be up high? My retic wont come off the shelf for anything...it's odd that my retic no longer likes her hide box and actually prefers the shelf. Anyhow...maybe i'll post some pics later. I'd like to see what ppl think about my enclosure as well.

I've got a pair of superdwarf retics that love to climb. They don't during the daytime, but at night that's pretty much all they do. Is it substantially warmer up on the shelf than it is in her hidebox?

I have a 30-lb. Jampea retic that has always climbed on whatever kind of perch I've provided. Now I have a 4" wide PVC pipe that's mounted across the cage and he's always going on or over it.

When I take him out of the cage he'd go right up the walls if I let him.
