Not bad for the first Ball Python you've ever hatched. LOL
Congrats

yeah--we are pretty happy this being our first year breeding, but we have been working on it for 3 years!it was worth the wait--one slug out of 5 clutches-still waiting for the last clutch to pip from a weird ghost like female bred to our het ivory male--should be a neat clutch--next year should be a really wierd year as many of our unusual holdbacks will be breeding(unproven womas-calico-reduced-granites)-

Male or Female?

I've got to be honest, I never saw you as becoming a breeder but an Ivory your first year out proves me wrong, Congrates...

That big old house in Ocala is getting closer and closer...

thanks neil--yeah-i get that alot, even though we were one of the first 3 people in the us other than tremper to produce albino leopard geckos!!--we were producing them when they were alot of money, and we still produce a few here or there(sometimes unintentionally!)--thanks for the words. Just trying to switch the focus to breeding from wholesaling and we have had to do it backwards as we did not come into this business with much capital--we had to build it up over time and now we can enjoy doing more breeding-eventually, thats all we plan to do.

Hey Ben,
I agree with Neil....never thought of you as breeder! But really glad you have joined in. It is always a thrill when those eggs hatch, no matter what morph they are. You had a terrific first year, continue with the great work!

Not a big fan of "all white" snakes myself, but I feel the YB's have tons of potential.

Very nice,

You may not like the ivory (though I think you would not mind it sitting in your rack) think of it this way. You have Jared's "special" female that tossed him the super striper. With a yellow belly breed to that female only 50% of the offspring receive the yellowbelly gene. The female is also only going to pass whatever trait she has onto 50% of the offspring so your down to a 1 in 4 shot to reproduce the super striper. With an Ivory male all offspring get the yellowbelly gene so you get 50% super stripers.... Not a bad bonus from a white snake with a bad ars yellow strip down its back....

If you like the genetic of a yellowbelly you have to love the genetics of an IVORY...

bad yellowbelly pic pre shed, I'll take a few of him now and post them tomorrow night.

Not that I don't like all white snakes, I do, but other colorful morphs do it for me more so than an all white one. I know what you are saying & agree 100%.

BTW: Nice YB & yes I would love an Ivory in my collection, but I would not consider it the prettiest.

Congratulations Ben! You have been a supplier of YB's and other high quality ball pythons for awhile and i'm glad to see you did something with some of the 'leftovers'
