can you breed a male Fl. normal corn with a Mandarin rat snake? if so is it easy or will it be a waste of money and a pain in my a$$ trying to breed them?

Why bring life into this world that nobody wants, has no monetary value and may be sterile? As responsible keepers we should only be breeding animals that we can find good homes for and can hopefully IMPROVE on the captive genes of that species.
I'm sure this cross could easily be done but the babies would not be an improvement of the parent species. They would be different but not better. What would be the ultimate point of it?

Though I really don't see much point in cross-breeding, though some hybridization does bring interesting results (ie candy canes...or is it creamsicles that are hybrids? could never remember, one of those two are hybrids anyway), i suggest you try asking your question in the hybrid forum, may get more responses that way as well.

I am pretty sure they are non-compatable.
Kings and corns are obviously more closely related then expected. They can reproduce but the new world and old world species, as far as I know, can not.
I know I will be corrected if I am wrong.
