Picture, if your snakes didn't move, that you laid them down, upside down, side by side, with their bodies aligned next to each other, head to head, tail to tail.
Now if you look at the underside of the tail just from the 'poop shoot' down to the tip of the tail, this will be almost twice as long on a male as it would be on a female.
