Pleurodeles waltl (Iberian ribbed newt) layed eggs

Mark M Jul 26, 2005 10:10 PM

In my 15 Iberian ribbed newt colony tank, I noticed eggs today. I removed then and put them in a dish of bottled mineral water. Since this is the first time I have seen eggs from this species, I was wondering if the eggs are suppose to be real small? If anyone is interested, I'll keep forum updated on the egg developement.
