I need some advice of a tripod to get, i dont want something too expensive, i have enough on my plate budgeting money for a new macro lense, film, film processing, new camera bag, etc. Anyway i wanted to know if there are any relatively inexpensive nice tripods out there, i saw some nice Quantaray ones today at the camera store and they were very reasonably priced. Anyway on a different note...
Tommorrow im going to the nearby state park, there are supposedly lots of garter snakes there and also some water snakes. There are also racers, black rat snakes, and a few other little species that one might come across in the area. Ill post them up as soon as i spend that roll of film.
Also, my zoo pics will be coming back soon, i dont expect many of them to be good due to the dark lighting of the reptile house and the fact that i had to handhold the camera so well see what happens. But they had some really awesome snakes there. The highlight of my day was standing face to face with a king cobra, he was active for once! Unfortunately too active and constantly moving thus not allowing me to photograph him.
Thanks!
